The perfect outdoor game for weddings
You’re probably reading this because you have a wedding coming up and are thinking “oh god, I hope my guests don’t get bored”. I’ve been there recently too.
There is only so much small talk you can make with your friends and family before you’d rather just do something else.
Giant outdoor games are a great way to give your guests something to do between the ceremony and the reception. If you find a boomer telling you too many stories about Aunt Margaret who you’ve only met once 15 years ago, and you need a reason to leave, setting up a game of giant jenga is a good excuse.
…or just great fun at parties
If you’re hosting a party and need some giant outdoor games then I unbiasedly recommend you hire our giant jenga set for the weekend.
Our blocks make perfect projectiles after a few too many tequilas will keep your guests entertained for hours.
Hire for any event is just $50.
Other giant jenga hire companies charge up to $60 per day to hire a giant Jenga game in Auckland. We just charge a flat $50, with flexible pick up / drop off times. If your event is on a Saturday, just pick up the game the week before, and drop it off sometime the week after.
If you lose or damage a block just leave a box of beers when you’re returning the set. There’s probably some left over from the event anyway. No stressful T&Cs here!
We Love Giant Jenga
Although we love playing giant jenga, we don’t actually sell jenga! We sell a giant toppling game made of giant pieces of wood!
If we called it Giant Jenga we might get a letter from some angry lawyers, so we don’t call it that.
But the rules are the same as standard jenga. And it’s just as fun.
I guess you could say what we sell is similar to jenga, but giant, and called something else.
Our products are New Zealand made using high quality wood to ensure this will last for years. None of this cheap rubbish!
Perfect for fun at home in the backyard, the beach, the bach, weddings, parties, or simply taken to a makes BBQ.
Also great for keeping the kids entertained. Just remove a few layers of blocks for the younger ones or they won’t be able to reach to top! 😂
I guess you could say what we sell is similar to jenga, but giant, and called something else.

Why do people buy something like Giant Jenga for weddings?
Because without games like giant jenga to keep your guests entertained, they’d have to make small talk. And let’s be honest when a wedding goes for 5 to 10 hours, there is only so much to say to Aunt Gloria before you look for something else to do. I recently got married myself and hired a giant jenga set for my wedding, but it got left behind in the rush to get to the venue, and I was gutted (this was before we starting making our own blocks here in Auckland).
Giant Jenga Rules
Below are the rules for Giant Jenga, which you can also use when playing with our Toppling Blocks.
Setting up Jenga
To set up the game of Jenga, stack all of the blocks in layers, each layer being three blocks wide. Each layer should be at a right angle to the previous layer.
Step One
Starting with the person who stacked the blocks, take one block from any level of the tower (except the level below an incomplete top level.
Step Two
Place the block on the top most level, in order to complete it in a similar fashion to the levels beneath it.
Game Ends
The game of Jenga ends when the tower falls (either completely falls, or when any block a player is not trying to remove falls). The loser is the person who made the tower fall, or whose turn it was when the tower fell.
Other Important Jenga Rules
- A players turn ends when the next player touches the tower. If they don’t don’t the tower within ten seconds, their turn automatically starts. This is to prevent a player from delaying the start of his turn if he or she senses that the tower may be about to topple.
