Hire cornhole in Palmerston North to keep your guests entertained
Palmy has a shit-tonne of fun activities, but there are only so many river walks, clocktower visits, and Lido diving board bombs you can do before you need something else to keep you occupied….and do I have an idea for you!
Toss some little bags into some little holes.
I know, I know, sounds kinda lame, but keep reading!
Picture this. You’re planning a wedding and you hate small talk. How do you avoid this? One simple way is to hire cornhole from us and set it up so you can interact with guests without actually having to talk to them.
Sounds IDEAL to me.
The bags are reasonably soft, so if you have a slightly aggressive guest then the bags shouldn’t cause too much damage to people.
Hire cornhole for any event for just $50.
Other outdoor game companies charge up to $50 per day to hire cornhole in Palmerston North. We just charge a flat rate of $50, with flexible pick up / drop off times.
Why hire from Giantwood?
Because look what we’ve seen on another cornhole hire website:
“Price: $60 daily. We offer delivery for bookings exceeding $100. A delivery charge may apply depending on location/travel distance required. Collections/returns can be done the day before and the day after your event between 8am-8:30pm. An overnight fee will be applied to your booking total for Saturday nights only. The table below outlines our delivery fees per distance required. All orders are subject to a security bond, photo ID“
I don’t know about you, but I hate all that sort of stuff!
Book with us and we just promise to be good buggers about the entire situation. Just pay the one-time fee during the booking process, then pick it up from our address in Palmy’s West End (by the lido). We’ll leave it outside for collection so we don’t even really need to interact (see above statements about avoiding small talk).
Return it whenever is convenient for you, but ideally within a week or so.
Security bond?! Photo ID?! Bugger all that. We trust you won’t be a dickhead. There is one condition of hire, and that is if a board is returned broken there will be a $100 damage fee. If you’re a savage and somehow managed to break both boards, there will be a $200 damage fee.
Specifications:
Mate, we aren’t scientists. You’ve got an event to plan, I’ve got wood to sand. Neither of us has time for specifications. Look at the pictures on this page and make a judgment call.
How do I play cornhole?
The Court:
Put the boards about 8.5 meters away from each other (measuring from the front of the boards), and facing each other. This is about 27 feet for any yanks reading this.
Scoring:
I’ll be honest, I started writing this section and got bored as hell. These rules are already written on 500 other websites, so how about you head along to the rules page at the American Cornhole Association and read the rules there. They are in-depth and should get you sorted in no time.
We’ve included a short video below which explains the rules pretty well – these are what most of our customers follow when they hire cornhole from us. Excuse the tacky boards in this vid.
